Privacy Policy

We collect the property address and roof location, electricity use or bill amount, equipment choices, and other details you enter to prepare an estimate. If you request a call or design, we collect the contact details and preferred contact time you provide.

We also receive browser and device information, IP addresses, referral and advertising identifiers, pages and estimate steps visited, and technical error and performance information. Roof imagery and limited captures of the roof preview help us prepare your design and investigate display problems.

Mapping and imagery services provide address suggestions, property imagery, roof data and residential or business address checks. Looking up a property may send your address search or selected location to those providers, including Google and our solar-design and imagery services.

We use this information to calculate estimates, save your progress, prepare solar designs, respond to your request, and improve and protect the estimator. Our team and service providers may process it for hosting, customer records, mapping, design and communication.

We keep a history of each generated estimate, including its inputs, calculated prices, property address, electricity use, IP address, visit identifiers and device information. This lets our team review quote activity and the figures generated, including when a visitor does not submit a contact request. We also record failed or denied requests and processing times for property data, imagery, and estimates to investigate problems and improve the service. This history is private to our team and follows the quote-record retention criteria below.

If you ask us to help with a financing or solar-program application, we may share the necessary information with the relevant provider. If you submit a California referral request, we may share your contact and property details with an installation partner so they can respond to that request.

We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to protect our customers, services or legal rights. Advertising-related sharing is described below.

The estimator uses browser storage to remember information you enter and restore your progress for up to seven days. Use “Start over” in the estimator or clear this site's browser data to remove the draft from that device.

Anyone with a saved estimate link can view its property and estimate details. Those links do not include your contact name, phone number or email address. The saved record remains available until removed; contact us if you want a shared estimate deleted.

Cookies and similar identifiers also support site access, privacy preferences and the advertising measurement and session analytics described below. Browser settings can block or clear storage, which may affect saved progress.

We use Meta's Facebook Pixel and OpenAI's ChatGPT Ads measurement pixel and their Conversions APIs to understand which advertisements lead to visits and quote requests. These providers may receive visit and request events, estimate values, browser or click identifiers, IP addresses and device information.

Contact and location identifiers sent through the Conversions API, such as your name, email, phone, city, state and ZIP code, are hashed before transmission. Hashing lets advertising providers match information with their own records; it does not make that information anonymous. Contact identifiers sent by our server to OpenAI are hashed email, phone and a lead identifier. OpenAI may also use browser-based advanced matching when enabled in its advertising settings.

Meta may combine this information with activity across other websites and services for advertising and measurement under its Privacy Policy. OpenAI processes advertising measurement under its Privacy Policy.

We use Microsoft Clarity on the public estimator to understand how visitors use the funnel and where they leave, using session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity receives browser and device information, page visits, clicks, scrolling and funnel steps. We mask form entries and property and estimate details in recordings. Microsoft may use cookies and process this usage data under its Privacy Statement. You can turn off ad measurement and Clarity session analytics for this browser below.

We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by disabling ad measurement and Clarity session analytics. A browser signal takes priority over a saved preference. This does not disable the mapping, saved-estimate, quote-history or first-party diagnostic features used to provide and maintain the estimator.

Your saved measurement preference can last up to one year. Set it separately on each browser or device, and again if you clear your cookies. Browser settings may prevent a preference from being saved.

You can ask to access, correct or delete information you provided, remove a saved estimate, or stop contact about your request. Email info@oldglorysolar.com or call (978) 788-0001. We may need to verify your request and retain records needed for an active project or applicable legal obligations.

We keep inquiry, quote and customer records for the purposes described above, taking account of your request, our relationship with you, project and warranty needs, and applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. These records do not have a fixed automatic deletion period. You can request deletion using the contact details above.

Technical diagnostic logs and diagnostic roof screenshots use a 14-day retention window. Roof images saved with a submitted design request are part of that request's records and follow the inquiry and project retention criteria instead. Backup copies may remain until replaced through the backup cycle.

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information. This estimator is intended for adults seeking solar services. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information.
